Ya-ba in Thailand

When I visited my parent last year 2004. I had a dinner with my family and my friend. I watch television with them. I saw the reality talked about Amphetamines or "Ya ba" problem. They reported about someone recorded the man who took amphetamines and he had a knife. The polish tried to catch him but he catch a student to be a hostage by knife who walked pass to the train station to went home near my University "Kasetsart University" and he asked about the pic-up car and driver also otherwise he will kill the student. The student was a women who was a just entranced in my University.The polish gave him everything and he took the student at the truck but he still hold a knife on her neck all the time until she dried and the polish shot him also. I saw about the show. It made me upset because the student was schoolmate in the same with me.

I thing her family had to be upset.My family told me about my friend who live near my house. he took Ya-ba. He lived with his mom because his mom got divorced.I didn't know what going on about why he took Ya-ba. Last month he tried to asked money to bought Ya-ba but she tried to stop him but he got angry because he took Ya-ba and effect of drug he hit his mom. She ran away from her house and ask help. My parent hear that they called polishes to catch my friend.

That is a big problem in Thailand. I concern about that problem. Do you know it easy to but drug. When I was in teenager. I spent time with my friend in the club everyone took drug except me. I ask them about why do you used it? They said it made them happy. I didn't say anything just umm. If the government can't stop this problem.New generation still took drug. I though my country will be go down because doesn't have enough human resource to develop my country.
